Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 30, 2026
Your household data is yours. This policy explains, in plain language, what Haivenly collects, how we use it, and the promises we make. We have kept the legalese to a minimum.
What we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and any household members you invite.
Your household data: the items you track, the recipes you save, your shopping lists, and the receipts you scan. Receipts include the store, the items, and the prices on them.
Usage and device data: basic information about how you use Haivenly, so we can keep it running and make it better.
How we use your information
We use it to run Haivenly for you: tracking your inventory, building your shopping lists, planning meals, reading your receipts, and showing you what you are saving. To do some of this we rely on trusted third-party providers, for example to read the text on a scanned receipt.
We never sell your personal information
We will never sell your personal information. Anything that ever leaves your household is first combined with data from many other households and stripped of anything that could identify you, so it cannot be traced back to you. This anonymous, aggregated data powers community features such as fair-price insights, and over time may be shared with partners as market-level insights, never as your personal data. Taking part is included in using Haivenly, and you can contact us to opt out at any time.
Data security
We protect your information with encryption, secure infrastructure, and regular reviews.
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal information. Anonymized data that has already been combined with other households cannot be separated back out.
Changes and how to reach us
If we ever make a meaningful change to how we use your data, we will tell you first. If you have any questions, email us at hello@haivenly.app.
